As many
clients will know, because of the unpredictable nature of the work, we have
not, until now, been able to quote or estimate fees for dealing with tax
enquiries and disputes.
Following
requests by clients and a steady rise in the number of tax enquiries over
recent years we are pleased to say that we have now arranged insurance for
the firm to cover our fees each year in dealing with this work and so, for a
fixed fee, we offer an annual Tax Enquiry Service to clients. This
operates for the year commencing 24 March with clients joining part way
through the year being charged a proportion of the full fee.
In addition to
enquiries into personal and business tax returns the service also covers
businesses for disputes with HM Revenue & Customs over their PAYE & VAT
affairs and provides them with free expert telephone guidance on the
following areas:
