Our sustainability policy

Atria operates under an overriding need to consider at all times the necessity to make best use of all resources, both internally and with suppliers/clients, thereby reducing waste and keeping to a minimum our negative impact on the environment.

Sustainability, ie maintaining resources rather than depleting or destroying them, not only makes sense for the planet as a whole but also makes sound business sense.  Looking to get the best outcome from least input has always been at the heart of running a successful business only now key resources such as energy and raw materials are depleted or at risk and certain ways of working that were held as best practice, have now been identified as damaging to society and the planet.

With both national and local governments now committed to lessening environmental impact the sustainability industry is now in full flow with many businesses recognising the financial as well as welfare benefits from operating in a sustainable way and many others helping them do so.
